Project |

|
The interdisciplinary cooperative research project KRIM has the goal of providing orientation and action know-how for the societal future task "risk management in coastal protection under climate change conditions". Such a comprehensive risk management implies giving attention to the aspects of perception, communication, interpretion, organisation and funding. The research project KRIM is going to analyse the consequences of an accelerated sea-level rise and intensified extreme incidents (formulated as climate scenarios for the year 2050) and of adaptation options for the natural and the social structures within the coastal region based on the examination of 8 representative coastal situations within the Weser-Jade-Region. |
